Baux was born out of frustration — and hope.

As a student, I interned at multiple companies that loved the work I did. But each time, the story ended the same:

“We wish we could keep you, but we just can’t justify a full-time UX hire.”

That sentence stuck with me. Not because of the missed opportunity — but because it was a pattern. If these companies needed UX help but couldn’t afford the long-term cost, how many more were in the same boat? And what about the countless students like me — skilled, hungry to learn, and eager to work on real problems — left on the sidelines?

That’s when the idea for baux clicked.
